Warsaw is one of the greenest European metropolises also the geographical, political and cultural center of Poland since 1611. Since olden times being cultural and industrial center, Warsaw was one of the most attractive cities of central Europe until it is practically effaced from face of the earth during the Second World War. Nonetheless she was brought back to life and continues flourishing.

Paradoxically Warsaw’s Old Town is only 50 years old. After World War II it was proudly and arduously reconstructed to its present form. And in 1980 it was placed on the UNESCO’s list of World Heritage Sites.

Monumental and Socialist realism neighbor the subtle and ethereal Art Nouveau, and modern glass skyscrapers towers designed by the famous architects beautifully blends in with its neighboring Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, which was constructed as the arcade of Saxon Palace.

Warsaw is a city full of amazing varieties and it never ceases to amaze with its magnitude of dimensions and themes, which for the inquirer have to be discovered, absorbed and understood.

You can discover Warsaw and it gems, popularly known as tourist attractions, on foot, on the bike, following ancient sites, or Chopin trail. That named after Fryderyk Chopin whose music you can listen to within ancient walls of the Łazienki Park where the composer himself used to play,as well as following concerts and festivals of contemporary music or pursuing other ambitious artistic events.

Everyone will find entertaining or enjoyable ways to spend time in Warsaw, which should help with understanding this multitude of contrasts and variations that define this splendid city.

Discover Warsaw yourself, because the proverbial door is wide open to anyone interested.

The historic heart of Prague right in the heart of Europe is an exceptionally valuable urban monument zone. That’s why Hradčany and Prague Castle, Malá Strana, the Old City together with the Charles Bridge and Josefov, the New City and Vyšehrad were entered into the UNESCO World Heritage List. Narrow and zigzagging streets guide out into small squares dominated by spiritual buildings of the Romanesque period. The Old City is mainly Gothic and its majestic churches with its magnificent houses have led to so called ‘Stone Prague’. In other Prague places, we are able to realize Renaissance and Baroque palaces, Neo-Classical, Art Nouveau and functionalist Cubism buildings’ designs that have all additionally had their say here.

The oldest and best-known river Vltava bridge is the Charles Bridge, that was built by Emperor Charles IV, who played a significant role in setting Prague’s current layout.

Prague Castle, rising higher than the entire city, dominates all its landmarks. From time immemorial, it had been the place from where rulers governed the Czech lands, and it remains thus these days. Hradčany, the biggest world’s castle is where the President of the Czech Republic resides. The castle itself and its St. Vitus’ Cathedral is one of the most visited tourist sites in the whole country.

The City of a 100 Spires, as Prague is known, is a refuge for tourists. Hidden streets with cozy cafés and restaurants, gardens and parks, dozens of galleries, museums, theatres and music clubs with live jazz, classical and music concerts… these are just a few of the attractions that you’ll be able to find here all year round.

It doesn’t matter when you visit the Czech capital. Prague is stunning during spring when everything is in blooming or autumn days with street lamps shining into the fog. Come with us into the narrow streets, pretty squares and hidden galleries and cafés.

Prague is waiting for you.

Several surveys in recent years have put Moscow as the most expensive city in the world, ahead of London, Tokyo and New York. Hotels, restaurants and real estate prices are certainly sky high and reflect Moscow’s new role as one of the world’s strongest business hubs.

Exploring Moscow as a tourist can be an experience. Everything is just so big. And if you like feeling small, anonymous and unimportant then Moscow is definitely the place for you! Surprisingly, after you’ve got used to it, it feels quite energizing; and if it’s adventure you’re after you’ve come to the right place…

Sights of Moscow are the main reason tourists come into the city from all corners of the world.

Diversity of sights of Moscow may cause confusion among tourists who do not have time enough to see all the monuments and interesting places of the Russian capital. From the diversity of cultural, historical and other sights of Moscow have to choose a minimum, and you want to include the most striking monuments, which convey the spirit of the ancient Russian city, which is famous for Moscow.

One of such unique sights, a symbol of Moscow is the Kremlin. The whole architectural complex, whose story begins almost simultaneously with the history of Moscow. For centuries, the Kremlin has been at the heart of Moscow. Together with the city he went through tests of wars, was rebuilt and changed.

Among the many museums of Moscow’s Tretyakov Gallery, perhaps is the most known for a wide range of foreign tourists, and this is one of the first museums, which comes in response to the question “what to see in Moscow?” Other, the most popular and valuable sights of Moscow are The Cathedral of Christ the Saviour, St. Basil’s Cathedral, Novodevichy Convent.

Riga – this is not only the capital of Latvia, the largest city in the country and largest port.

It is also a place where an excellent opportunity to plunge into the cozy atmosphere of old times and enjoy the magnificent monuments of architecture. Riga appeared on the site of ancient settlement Liv, where the Ridzene flowed into the Daugava river. From the river Ridzene city got its name. Like the city itself, Riga was first mentioned in the chronicle of Henry of Latvia in 1201 when the German knights built a trading settlement on the site of a factory. Originating at the junction of sea and land routes, the city in the late 18th century enjoyed the monopoly rights of Russian trade intermediary for the Western Dvina.

On the right bank of the Daugava River is the oldest core of Riga – Old Town that has retained a network of narrow medieval streets.

Most architectural monuments and landmarks are concentrated in the old town. Narrow crooked streets bordered by low houses with old lanterns in portals and still preserved multistory warehouses with red tile roofed gabled roofs and hanging from the walls by ropes hoisting winches. This is a monument to 18th century architecture. Some streets remained as narrow as it was in the Middle Ages, when it was used only pedestrians but the riders. In the old town are concentrated numerous architectural monuments, including the magnificent Roman-Gothic Dome Church (13th century) and “Three Brothers” 15-16 century. In the Dome you can hear the magnificent organ, the largest in Europe. Among other monuments worth mentioning Gothic church of Peter, the Church of John (first mentioned in 1297), former castle of Orders (1330), the Church of Peter-Paul. Old Town is bordered semicircle of boulevards. In the middle of the boulevards is Bastion Hill, pour in the channel from the wreckage of the city walls surrounding the city. There are many museums and exhibition halls in Riga. 8 theaters, circus, concert halls and hundreds of restaurants open their doors before the inhabitants of Riga and guests of the city.

The main tourist center in Latvia – Riga, but during the summer – Jurmala. Jurmala is known for the warm coast of the Baltic Sea, dozens of modern resorts, mineral springs and picturesque landscapes.
Jurmala is located 15 km south of Riga.

Paris … This is the elegant capital of the world so unlike the rest of France, that it sometimes called a “city-state.” The city of all time, Paris has preserved and signs of the distant past, and romanticism of modern times. It has everything for everyone – for theater and music lovers, connoisseurs of art, gourmet lovers of all kinds, entertainment and business capital. Paris is one of the largest cities in the world. In fact the urban area, is relatively small – 105 square meters where more than 2 million live, and in greater Paris – far more than 10 million people. In addition to the classic Paris – the city Eiffel Tower, Notre Dame, the Louvre and the Champs Elysees, everyone can find here in the least attractive parts unknown. Not only topographical center of the country and second only to London’s largest city in Western Europe, Paris – the center of administrative, political and cultural life of France. Virtually untouched during the two world wars, the city center with magnificent boulevards and elegant mansions of the city dates back to Napoleon. The streets breathe history, monuments and museums known worldwide, and every sidewalk in Paris – the theater of everyday life. It is also the city where the equal right of art and love. Countless experiences await those who prefer to get acquainted with Paris and the Parisians, walking the streets. Although the distance between individual landmarks sometimes quite large, such as the Arc de Triomphe to Place de la Bastille almost 7 km. And the church of Sacré-Coeur in Montmartre, Montparnasse to more than 5 km, Paris – the city is compact and easy to navigate to it: it is only necessary to keep flow of the Seine, which divides Paris in right-and left bank. A dense network of underground will give you the opportunity to get to any place in the city.

Each of us wants to go to his Paris. The Champs-Élysées is known as ‘La plus belle avenue du monde’ — ‘The most beautiful avenue in the world’. Some wants to see the entire Louvre, Musée d’Orsay. Some Museum and Pompidou Centre, someone to sit in the Luxembourg Gardens and the Rodin Museum, calling their lovers streets of Montmartre, to someone urgently needs to run on the trendy boutiques and someone just wants to “spit from the Eiffel Tower on the heads of poor Parisians.” Louvre is one of the oldest and the richest worlds’ museum. Notre Dame (Notre-Dame de Paris) – A witness of many historical events, arresting its grandeur and beauty. Versailles – the former French royal residence – a symbol of strength of the kingdom of France, while maintaining its beauty …

It is believed that the nicest month for a trip to Paris is May, when the parks are blooming chestnuts, and September-early October, when the summer heat subsides and has few tourists. Paris is great before Christmas and the New Year. It is not necessary, perhaps, plan a trip in August – it’s the heat, the holiday season with the crowds of tourists when many cafes and restaurants are closed.

Frankfurt is a city of skyscrapers and the largest financial center in Europe, situated on the Main River. Frankfurt is a city of contrasts: business and charm of hidden ancient streets with attracting mansions. Buried in the colors of the area, there are beautiful fountains, churches, cathedrals and theaters.

History of the city begins in 794, when Frankfurt was mentioned in the certificate of Charlemagne. In 855 – the first royal election, in 1240 – its first medieval fair.
In 1848, the imperial Frankfurt became the first German city of democracy, when the parliament was elected here.

The modern city of Frankfurt-am-Main is a huge business, financial and transport hub in Germany and Europe. Frankfurt International Airport (FRA) is the biggest in Europe

Frankfurt am Main is one of the largest financial centers in Europe; it is not surprising that this city have chosen to locate their headquarters, known financial and lending institutions and banks. In particular, this is where the head offices are lined up Deutsche Bank, Commerzbank, Dresdner Bank and many other. In Frankfurt, even exists so-called banking quarter in which the skies are bursting at the skyscrapers downtown, in fact, is a German analog of the “City” in the UK.

Frankfurt is a fairly old city with historical monuments of different eras, temples, museums to and architecture.

Shopping arcades, pedestrian areas, specialty shops with an atmosphere of good old time, antique shops and book dealers, along with countless cafes and bistros in the open air make Frankfurt, a real pleasure.

Denmark, oh Denmark! Country of castles, country of Vikings and fogs, fantastic country, ancient, incomprehensible … A small country that affects the whole world and their masterpieces, and his sincerity, and its small, very neat and comfortable towns. The heart of Denmark, its capital – the city of Copenhagen, translated from Danish as “Harbor merchants”. It was here, in Copenhagen. In ancient times lively merchants from overseas countries brought a variety of goods from everywhere and concluded its first deal with the Danes.

Copenhagen was quite small, one of Europe’s oldest city, located on two Zealand and Amager islands. However, Copenhagen is Denmark’s largest city, because it more than half a million inhabitants. And the suburbs – and does a million!

Copenhagen surprises with its eccentricity. It is a lively, prosperous, modern and at the same time, regal calm, ancient, impressive and a little sly. However, perhaps it is natural, since Copenhagen, according to some, as a settlement for over 6000 years. He was originally a small marina near where huddled houses of fishermen. Then the pier was chosen by overseas traders to dock their ships, and with time fishing village has become a prosperous town bustling.

The capital of Denmark Copenhagen, with a light hand of King Valdemar the Great, was proclaimed in 1343. And in the fifteenth century it became the capital of Sweden and Norway, and, as usual in such cases, the royal residence. Since then, the city experienced a great deal. It built castles and towers, it stormed the Swedes and the British, the Germans besieged, it was burning and dying from epidemics, but he survived. And so it remained a royal residence – the current Queen of Denmark, Margrethe II, lives in the heart of this fantastic city.

Today, Copenhagen is serene, courteous, neat and comfortable. Once upon a time on its streets with old, who had seen a lot of houses, wander the great Hans Christian Andersen. Who knows, maybe in some of these little windows decorated with geraniums, and he saw Gerda and unhappy about his Kae? Who knows … In Copenhagen, all can be.

Copenhagen has smell of freshly baked bread, clean the shop windows friendly smile to passers-by and on the boulevards, including street musicians, it is important paces businesslike chimney sweeps. Well, maybe a city can not help but wonder? How could it happen that there was not anything that would be worth to see where to go and would have cost that would be worth listening to? Of course not!
