Guangzhou – the “City of Five Rams”

Guangzhou – the capital of Guangdong province, the cultural, economic and political center of Southern China. The Chinese call it Guangzhou, Europeans – Canton. Guangzhou with a population of 10 million is the third largest city in China, second only to Beijing and Shanghai. It is a city with long history. More than two thousand years ago there was founded a trading port, it began maritime “Silk Route”.

Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport is the main hub of China Southern Airlines and a focus city for Shenzhen Airlines. Baiyun International is the 2nd busiest airport in China in passenger traffic

Guangzhou has a subtropical climate and it is warm and humid year-round spring-like warmth, and at any time of year in many colors.

Guangzhou is rich in historical and cultural attractions. Its main attraction is Home “Chzhenhaylou” shrine of the Five Saints, the temple of the Chen family clan, the tomb of King Nanyue, Sun Yat-sen Museum, and others. Past and present are intricately connected in this city. Tourists are attracted and ethnic characteristics of the city, architecture and local theater.
